Patient safety is of critical importance to any hospital, and at McMaster Children’s hospital, a new Centre brings together administrative and data analytic support to accelerate efforts in continuous quality improvement (CQI) and patient care. At the ribbon-cutting and tour of The Joyce Centre for Healthcare Innovation at McMaster Children’s hospital, we learned about how this dedicated Centre has strengthened McMaster’s role as a leader in pediatric care. In the journey towards zero harm for Mac Kids patients, the Centre provides an exciting space for thought leaders, learners and researchers.
